I must admit i am a bit disappointed that apple is not releasing a totally new Phone with a new design and a bigger screen but they still managed to impress with some awesome Specs in the NEW iphone 4S. This is a similar move to the one they did with the iphone 3GS but this time its bigger MUCH BIGGER.

The first major update is the processor, they are going to be using a Dual-Core A5 processor which delivers up to two times more power and seven times faster graphics, when the Iphone 4 first came out is was a very fast Phone but i must admit the more updates apple released the more the phone started to slow down especially when i was testing iOS5. So a faster processor is a good move.

Another big update is the Camera. It has been upgraded from 5 Mega Pixels to and 8 Mega Pixel one, with a larger f2.4 aperture which will help a lot if more light enters,  allowing better photos in darker environments. They also are introducing an "improved back light sensor, excellent auto white balance, advanced color accuracy, face detection, and reduced motion blur". I will have to do some tesbefore i can comment :). Also filming in Full HD 1080p at 30 frames per second with temporal noise reduction and video stabilization.

iOS 5 Apple's new firmware which will be available also for iphone 4 and 3GS has many new good features. One of my favorites is the pull down menu which can show you the weather, stocks, appointments etc. One of the coolest features of this operating system is the iCloud which is a very easy way to manage all your music, apps, photos, mail, contacts, etc. What it does is that when you create a document or download a program or take a photo it will automatically push everything to all your other devices. It also keeps an online backup in the cloud, all for free.

Last but not least is the intelligent assistant which if it is as AMAZING as it looks in the promotional videos it's gonna be great. This is a super accurate voice command software which lets you take full control of your Phone with just your voice. Take a look at the video below and get impressed.  This is something i am looking forward to test on Gadgets as i am curious to see how it will work with my Maltese accent :).
